Don completed his Associates Degree at Wayne State University. He was a computer programmer for several years. Moved to North Carolina in 1982 and subsequently worked for Piedmont Airlines/ US Airways for several years. The last several years of work he worked for Import Parts Specialists delivering auto parts. He was outgoing, friendly and never met a stranger. He was active in the Assemblies of God Church. He was married for 46 years to his wife Mary
